Day 1 Mhamid - Erg Chegaga

This short trip is a search for a new luxury desert experience.

Even it is only one night but you spend an unforgettable time in this unique place. You will admire this part of the Sahara desert, learn to respect it, walk around and enjoy the vastness of never-ending golden sand dunes. In the evening, immerse yourself under the shining stars with the sound of the desert drums in a luxury desert camp (double tent with private shower/toilet).

The journey begins in the morning driving straight into the true, huge Sahara. First, we drive in an air conditioning 4WD vehicle about 10 km along small dunes and tamarisk trees. The area changes into a different landscape with Acacia trees (Hammada), then we reach a sacred oasis with a source of water that runs all year round. A good place for a break and to explore the oasis.

Later, we continue our way to Erg Chegaga for lunch (lunch place depends on the weather conditions). The rest of the day is yours since the dunes are just at your feet. A beautiful large group of dunes stretching over a length of 40 km and up to 300 m high. Enjoy this beautiful landscape on a 1 hour camel ride. Experience a new dimension of tranquility and serenity during the sunset on the high dunes of Erg Chegaga. In the evening, we meet at the luxury camp fire where the guides have prepared a first-class dinner for you and listen to traditional music. Spend the night in your luxury tent and feel like you are in a fairy tale from a thousand and one night with luxury services. -/L/D

Day 2 Erg Chegaga - Mhamid

After enjoying the sunrise on the dunes, we serve a you an excellent outdoor breakfast. After breakfast we return to Mhamid. We take another road back driving through other landscapes and reach Mhamid at about 10 am
