Day 1 Marrakech - Zagora 

In the morning we pick you up from your riad and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. We cross the Tizin Tichka Pass with approx. 2.260 m. We make photo stops and breaks to explore the landscape of the Atlas region.

We visit the famous and well-preserved Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Kasbah from the 17th century is the backdrop of numerous Hollywood films.

After 4 hours driving, we reach Ouarzazate *Moroccan Hollywood city* where there are some film studios.

We stop for our lunch in Ouarzazate and then continue to Zagora. 

Our journey resumes and takes us on to the Draa Valley, travelling through magnificent Anti Atlas mountains. We spent our first night in a lovely dreamful typical riad in Zagora. A Place to relaxe and enjoy the evening.

The former caravan station and present provincial capital. Zagora is located in the Drâa Valley, a river bed that stretches from Ouarzazate over 1100 km to the Atlantic Ocean, with its thousands of Palm Threes.  -/-/D

Day 2 Zagora - Erg Chegaga

After a good breakfast, we start to Erg Chegaga. We pass through Tamegroute, famous for its craft pottery production, and reach M’Hamid. From M’Hamid, and after saying goodbye to civilization, we continue our journey deep into the desert for a memorable journey through the Sahara by jeep . We reach a sacred oasis with a source of water that runs all year round. A good place for a break and to explore the oasis. Lunch will be served in the desert.

After covering 60 km of off road, we reach the dunes of Erg Chegaga – the amazing group of golden desert dunes stretching for 40 km and reaching a height of 300 meters. A cup of mint tea and some nuts are offered before you ride camels for an unforgettable tour to enjoy the sunset. Afterwards you have time for a shower and rest in your privat tent. A traditional nomad dinner with music around fire and overnight accommodation in a well luxurious tent. B/L/D 

Day 3 Erg Chegaga - Marrakech

After enjoying the sunrise on the dunes, you can enjoy an outdoor breakfast.

We start with our vehicle following the old Paris-Dakar track to Foum Zguid. We cross a dried-up lake called Iriqui. A long time ago this was still filled with water. After a short break we continue to Taznahkt. This place is known for the production of wonderful and authentic Berber carpets.

We stop in Taznahkt for lunch. Afterwards you will again enjoy the impressive high Atlas mountains before we return to Marrakech at about 7.00 pm. B/-/-
